This is an outside in the front of the ship, deck 9, it is literally the first cabin all the way upfront, is this a good area to be on the ship??

To be honest, the best place to be on any ship is mid-ship but it also depends on where you're going. We just did the Alaskan cruise and did have a mid-ship cabin but the waters were so calm, it wouldn't have mattered where we were. In May we crossed the Pacific to Hawaii and the ship was rockin' and rollin' all the time. Even so, it was very tolerable. What cruise are you going on - what's the destination?

What waterways will the ship take to Miami? You're really going to enjoy the Spirit. We liked it so much that we just booked a Southern Caribbean cruise for March. By the way, one thing I failed to mention was that on this past cruise on the Spirit my husband and I hit two slot machine jackpots totalling $5,000! Do you suppose that could influence my attitude towards the Spirit? We're planning on going back to the same slot machines in March. Do you think lightening can strike twice? So, definitely try your luck at the Casino...you never know!

I am thinking that there is a floor to ceiling pole in that room that wont let you push the beds together.
