Hell and Butterflys

Sounds like a great mix to me! Not your normal folks and don't really want to sit on the beach all day. Intrested in a way to see Hell, the Butterfly farm and the Turtles (if we have time). I really think our ship is crazy over priced for the excursions, and from what I am hearing on here, there has got to be a cheaper and better way to do it. Taxi? Private Tour? We will be docking August 23, 2007 at 7 am and leaving at 4 pm. Who can help?

There are many tour operators at the dock. Tell them what you want to do and they will more than likely accommodate you. They may want 6-8 people for a tour, but we took the cruise ship excursion sheet, showed them what we wanted to do, and just said how much for this(much cheaper than the ship at Grand Cayman)? There were 6 of us and they found two others to go and we went to the Turtle Farm, Hell, Seven Mile Beach, and rode around the city. From what I understand, the Turtle Farm has greatly expanded in activites and price, so you may want to check into that.

I will be going to GC this August and was wondering about the same thing. The first link has a tour that is cheaper, but the second link goes to more places. Personally, I am considering doing one of these with a submarine/semi-submarine excursion. Hope this helps! :D
