Tux Rental on Carnival

Recommended Posts

The tux rental fee is for the length of the cruise. I rented one on our last cruise, and it was very nice. Plus, you have the convenience of not having to pack it/haul it/worry about anything happening to it.

That is correct. Just go to a local formal wear shop and have them measure you, they'll do it for nothing usually. You will need all the measurements they ask for to fit it right. Simple and less packing.:D

You can see what the Tux's look like Here:

http://www.carnival.com/BonVoyage/Default.aspx?cat=Formal+Wear+Rentals

You can't actually rent them via the web site though. You have to call 1-800-522-7648, and you have to have your measurements when you call.

Also, orders are accepted up to and no later than one week prior to sailing date.

Finally, prices vary according to port of embarkation.

Not sure if you're aiming to save money or save packing, but if it's the former more than the latter, you might want to try eBay -- I've heard there are some good formalwear deals to be had there. Though of course, there's no way of anticipating what might be available at any given time.

We rented tuxes for my daughters cruise wedding. There were 8 total and all were waiting in the cabin for us when we boarded the ship. Very convienent and all sizes were exactley as ordered. The nice thing is it comes with two dress shirts which was perfect for the 7 day cruise. Yes you get to use the tux for the duration of the cruise. Sure saved alot as renting for the week from a local tuxedo store would have been a fortune!
