terboo Posted August 1, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2007 My husband and I are reserved with Nativeway Watersports. Our tour leaves at 9:30 grand cayman time. And returns at 1:30 cayman time. So that means we will leave at 10:30 ship time and return at 2:30 ship time? The last tender is at 3:30 ship time, correct? Are they sure to get you back to the pier by 1:30 cayman time? I hope that's not too confusing. Thanks for you help, terboo
phlewt Posted August 2, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2007 Native Way uses Eastern Standard Time for all of their tours. So you will need to check to see what time your ship is using and, if it is different, convert it to Eastern Standard Time.
FunCruiser56 Posted August 3, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2007 We booked this same tour for Oct 24 and the conformation I received says the tour starts at 9:30 Central time and ends at 1:30 Central time. Just make sure you keep track of what time the ship is on so you give yourself plenty of time to get back to the ship. It does get confusing when the ship is changing time and the islands are sometimes on a different time zone. Ask at guest services about the time differences and you can figure out how it affects your tour. Give yourself plenty of time for tendering. We have used Nativeway before and they do a great tour, take along some extra $$ for photos they had a photographer at sting ray city in the water with us. dcgrumpy Posted August 3, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 3, 2007 My confirmation also says Central Time The tour departs the pier at 8:30 AM Central Time (this is 9:30 AM ship time). The tour completes at around 11:30 AM Central Time. We ask that you check in no later than 8:15 AM Central Time (this is 9:15 AM ship time).
