We our on the Sept 8th cruise. We just got our flights from the travel agent last night. We will be in NJ before 8 a.m. EARLY!

Is there anything to do at the port while we wait to be boarded?

hi tuttbug, we are on your sailing, staying two nights pre cruise so that should be good, trouble for us is at the end of the cruise, what to do for five hours after leaving the ship, before going back to the airport for flight home.

Luckily our flight home is perfect, we leave around 12:30.

Are their restaurants nearby or a nice place to sit at the port??

hi, why not go to one of the airport hotels for a leisurely breakfast before heading off to the port, i read one post on here where someone did that. how about if you can, leave your luggage at there port then go and do a boat trip to liberty island etc to fill in some time.
