Corner Aft Balcony or Hump Balcony on Explorer

Recommended Posts

I'm an aft-lover but from the choices you gave I would probably pick one of the humps. My choice would be 8620 because I prefer a higher deck.

Deck 6 afts are not that desirable on Voyager-class ships. There is a large gray area that extends beyond the aft portion of the ship. Plus the lower the aft deck, the more obstruction from the structure on the back of the ship. My motto is the higher the better when doing aft on Voyager-class.

Check out photos here for views from Voyager-class aft cabins.

ETA: I see you posted again while I was typing. Hey, I was typing as fast as I could! :p ;) :D

I just off the Explorer on Sunday and had 6622 great location but I also love the higher deck ( I didn't book this went with a family group and had a TA do it!)...and on 6 you do not have the plexiglass on the bottom so you have to stand at the railing to look out. Other Family members had aft cabin and same look/setup but a far walk for anything. I always book hump -close to elevators and stairs

Well, 7388 is one of the two largest balconies on the entire ship! (7388/7688) I would DEFINITELY choose 7388!
I defer to Bonnie's vast knowledge of Voyager-class aft cabins. If she says grab it, I say DO IT!
