Irons on the dawn

Is there an iron in the rooms (we have inside cabin). Last year we brought our own and I never checked if they had them available.

There are irons located in the laundry rooms on board the Dawn. Bringing irons on board is a no-no.

Many consider irons fire hazards aboard cruise ships, and they are also burn hazards, because in rough seas the ship really isn't as stable as your home.

Some cruise lines will confiscate irons if they found them. Thankfully, NCL isn't one of them. Never-the-less, safety should be everyone's responsibility.

 

Did you pack an ironing board on your last cruise? What did you press your cloths on, the bed, the table, or the floor?

 

Some cruise ships, such as the Dawn, have self service laundrymats that include irons and ironing boards. The space they are in have more fire suppression capability than your cabin to put out any fires they might cause.

Ask the passengers on the Princess ship that caught fire last year, fires is amongst the worse things that can happen aboard a cruise ship.

Self serve laundry rooms are on every cabin deck, and there aren't any on the public decks. The Dawn is the first ship of NCL's fleet of ships to have self serve laundry rooms.

There is one on deck 10 but there are only 4 on the Dawn on decks 5, 9, 10,11...

Last week on the Dawn I used the Laudry room to Iron no problem it was mid-ship on deck 11 worked fine I found it to be convenient it was not crowded at all and it was dress up night:)
