My family is going to Nassau in December. After the Sunset is my husband and I's favorite movie. What is the best way to see it the Atlantis. We are not interested in actually going into it, just to get a look at it up close. I thought I read the water taxi from the dock would be a way to go but now I can't find that information. Any sugestions would be appreciated. We will also be traveling with my mother in law who will be in a wheelchair.

If you mil is in a wheelchair, I suggest a cab ($4 pp) to the Royal Tower Entrance. It's the easiest and quickest way. You won't be able to see much for free. You can view the lobbies, casino and the aquaium view from the Great hall of Waters Cafe.. as well as the yachts and marina village. Beyond that, the rooms, and beach/pool properties are off limits.

There are several doors in the casino area that open to veranda views, but beyond that, you'll encounter security personnel.

If you are interested in the water Taxi.. they run from 9am - 6pm daily from the wharf downtown and cost $3pp. Most can accomodate a folded wheelchair, but they are usually not easy to board and disembark.

The drop you about 2 blocks from the marina Village, and the walkway is on a slight incline.
