triptastic Posted August 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2007 Hi, I have read that Costa has shuttle busses to the town, at the ports for those who are not taking a booked excursion. I am wondering if this is true for all ports or just a few. I will be on the Eastern Med cruise in Jan/08 and would like to start some planning. Thanks in advance. mpb43 Posted August 4, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2007 triptastic, I'm just back from the Eastern Med aboard the Mediterranea. Here is how it worked for us: Bari- shuttle bus for 5 euro, had to buy tickets onboard. Plenty of taxis were available Mykonos- free shuttle bus to town Santorini- pay for funicular or donkeys to get up to Fira Rhodes and Dubrovnik- ship arrives right in or near the old town area. It was an easy walk in Dubrovnik and a slightly longer walk in Rhodes. Hope that helps!
