Mobile Pre-Cruise Hotel Package on Holiday ?

Anyone have any details for a park and shuttle cruise package for the Holiday out of Mobile?

The only one I see is the Radisson Admiral Semmes. Does anyone know if it includes parking for the week in with the nightly (149.00) rate? It says shuttle based on availability. Also, how far is this hotel from the dock? Is it in a good part of town?

Any other hotels you've stayed at with a park and shuttle package? (details please)

The Admiral Semmes is downtown, about 5 blocks from the terminal. It does include parking for the week and most people never have to wait long for theshuttle. You could walk it if you wanted to. It's not too bad downtown. As long as you aren't looking for trouble you should be fine.

This link contains alot of helpful info for visitors and lists hotels with cruise packages.

We stayed there when we cruised in July this year. It was horrible!! We had 4 rooms which were all really dated and smelled. My sisters room had BED BUGS, she and her friend had bites all over them. The showers didn't work properly. The staff was really friendly but I will not stay there again. We parked at the terminal and it was very easy, I think that it cost $50 for a 4 night cruise. We got at the terminal at 11:00 but the police turned us around and told us that when we see his lights turn on his car that we can drive over. We were finally able to park around 12:00 and we were on board eating lunch on the Lido deck by 12:30. It was the easiest embarkation that I have ever been through. I hope that you have a great cruise!!

Has anyone stayed in the Red Roof Inn in Mobile? I have never stayed at a Red Roof anywhere (usually we go to a Quality Inn) but it was priced right for a place to lay our heads before the cruise.

Which one are you looking at - Street?

for $25..and the shuttle, but I stay somewhere else for $50, w/con b'fast.Terminal park is $60

Sounds like a plan also. I'll talk to my hubby tonight. He always enjoys the continental breakfasts. Being at the terminal on your own is good, too.
