driftychick Posted October 21, 2004 #51 Share Posted October 21, 2004 Our pools were never closed on the 10-7- Cruise, perhaps it was the one prior. You know, maybe the steward was smoking in our room........ hmmmmm..
Sea Island Lady Posted October 21, 2004 #52 Share Posted October 21, 2004 Went back and re-read the post and she definitely said that the pool was closed the second cruise beginning 10/07 and that the ship was on code yellow for sickness.
cruisers4ever Posted October 22, 2004 #53 Share Posted October 22, 2004 My wife and I are non-smokers. We have taken 8 cruises on RCL. Two of the times the cabins smelled really bad of smoke. We called the Pursers Office and they told us to leave our cabins for 30 minutes and they would see what they can do. After we returned the cabins smelled nice and we had no problems for the rest of the cruise. One time they sprayed the walls with some kind of deoderant, and the second time they sprayed the walls and changed all the linens and the curtains. I hope this helps
driftychick Posted October 22, 2004 #54 Share Posted October 22, 2004 Sea Island Lady: I was in the pool at the beginning of the cruise, the Solarium pool, we never use the main pool. But, no announcements were made and no net was over the pool....... very strange.
