UNPACK? Thanks You can probably go directly to the port and turn your luggage over to the baggage handlers so you won't have to hang on to them until you board. Then you can go do something else. barbels Posted August 7, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 7, 2007 With an arrival time of 8:30 I doubt you will get to the ship before 10- maybe not until 10:30. Since people have said they started boarding at 11 you won't have that long to wait.
Bella_NoLa Posted August 7, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 7, 2007 Well, IF your flight does arrive on time you still have to get your luggage (20 minutes) and take the taxi to Brooklyn (possibly and hour depending on traffic), it will already be 10-ish ! There is nothing really in walking distance from the ship terminal as it is sort of the industrial part of Brooklyn. But just think, you can get on the ship and have peace of mind that you made it! willysgrandma Posted August 8, 2007 #5 Share Posted August 8, 2007 If by some miracle your flight actually gets in when it is supposed to, just go to the pier - there is really nothing else to do in that area. By he time you get your luggage, a car or cab and get to the pier it will be just about time to check in anyway. I live in NY and my last four flights - not a single one has arrived back here on time.
