What is a first run film???

"color television showing first-run films." Can anyone give me an example of what kind of films are on the television in the cabins???

Any movie that may have been out in theaters, but not yet released on disk. Like movies you see on an airplane before they are out on dvd.

On our Sensation cruise in February, the free in room movies were "Invincible", "Cars" and 2 or 3 others rotating all week.

"Invincible" premiered on DirecTV PPV the week AFTER we got back from our cruise.

The other 4 movies had just premiered on PPV the week or two before our cruise.

 

So your cable or satelitte PPV channels, the week you cruise should give you a pretty good idea of the offerings.

 

So for example, now would probably be movies like "Ghost Rider", "Breach", or "Shooter" which are on PPV now and maybe "300" which premieres on PPV Thursday.

We just got off of the Imagination and the movies were Wild Hogs, Music & Lyrics, Because I Said So, Astronaut Farmer. Hopefully that gives you an idea of the type of movies

Thanks for asking the question and to everyone who answered, my parents just asked me about our cruise on Nov and I wasnt sure what to tell them.
