Hello, we are booked on the 2/24/08, sailing out of San Juan. We have fights on U.S. Airways. Does anyone know if there is baggage drop off at the dock for U.S. Airways? Also does anyone know if this done thru the airline or Royal Carribbean? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We were there 18 months ago and there was no drop off.

I know that American Airlines has a drop off at the dock but not sure of yours.There is a charge of $10 PP for this service.

I don't think there is although I have read on the boards somewhere that while there is not an official program though the cruise line there is a booth/luggage check once you are outside at the pier. (And it is free!)

Hoping that is true as I am on your same cruise and am flying USAir home too!

Last time we were there and flying American, there was no baggage drop off. Good luck.

The trucks on departure from the ship from each airline is based on the volume of passangers they expect coming off the ship. If only a few it's not cost efficient. On arrival if you have arranged the transfer with RCI then they will meet & greet you there and take you & luggage to the ship. If you are diamond they should contact you even if they didn't arrange your air they will offer youcomplimentary transfer. A C&Arep called us before our Alaska trip to ask for flight info and give us tranfers
