cruzingagain Posted August 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2007 Having never cruised RCI, do they have robes in the cabins? How about hair dryers? Jean
FPP777 Posted August 11, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2007 Hair dryers in every room... Robes in GS and above. I was in a J/S last month and I asked. They brought a couple for my wife and I. You also get them if your a certain level in C&A. I think it is Diamond, but I/m sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.
cruzingagain Posted August 11, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted August 11, 2007 We are in a JS on the Mariner. Hopefully they will bring us one. I hate to have to pack those! They take up too much room! Jean
kc320 Posted August 11, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2007 Platinum C&A get's robes as one of the perks....but "most" of the time if you ask your cabin steward they will get you 1 or 2 no problem......

Jean Not normally in JS's but they do provide them for C&A Members Platinum and above. You can ask your cabin steward though. Sometimes they will bring them to you. brightonguys Posted August 11, 2007 #6 Share Posted August 11, 2007 We asked our steward in our regular balcony cabin on Freedom, and he brought us a couple of them. No problem, and it was our first RCI cruise, so we were not even C & A members yet. So I would just ask your steward regardless the type of cabin you are in or your C & A level. Tanker4 Posted August 11, 2007 #8 Share Posted August 11, 2007 How much do you tip your steward if they bring you a robe ? We wait until the last night of the cruise to tip regardless of what they do during the cruise. Tanker
brightonguys Posted August 11, 2007 #9 Share Posted August 11, 2007 We usually put in a few small requests that first day and tip our steward $10 or $20. It's actually one of the first tips I'd read about here on Cruise Critic, and it usually does seem to start the week off on a good note all around.
