Tanker4 Posted August 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2007 We had our first experiance with RCL's AO Program a couple of weeks ago. Took our 7 year old DGS on his first cruise aboard the Sovereign. What a fantastic program! We had to almost drag him away each time we picked him up and he couldn't wait to get back. momonthego17 Posted August 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2007 My DDs (5 & 7) had a great time in AO as well. I loved the fact that I could spend some time with DH and know my DDs were safe and having fun, then we could all spend fun family time together. The pirate show they put on the last night was a hoot! I can hardly wait for our up coming cruise in less than 5 weeks:D !!
Warmer Climes Posted August 12, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 12, 2007 I agree about what a great program AO is. When we went on the Explorer our DD (who was 7 at the time) told me she wanted to quit school and just stay at AO year-tound! There was a young Australian guy named Ben who was the head of the program and the kids were like his groupies. We're going back on RCCL Mariner in February and DD will be 9- I hope shes enjoys the program as much as she did before. Barb
crusinmama06 Posted August 12, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 12, 2007 Yep, my 7 year old LOVED it. My 3 year old...not so much...lol. Which was strange since it wasn't her first cruise. I'll get to see how she does at Camp Carnival again later this week.
