merlin217 Posted August 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2007 Hi everyone.......I was hoping for a little help. We're taking our first Med cruise next summer on Carnival (Rome, Naples, Venice, Dubrovnik, Messina, Barcelona, Cannes and Livorno). I've heard that there are certain days of the week and certain hours in the day that various "places of interest" (i.e. the Vatican, Pompeii, the Grand Casino, the Colosseum) are closed. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks so much.
kestrel Posted August 14, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2007 Many museums close on Mondays, though some may close on different days. Stores tend to close on Sundays. I will suggest that you check tour books or their corresponding websites to find out the exact open time.
