sharybeari Posted May 18, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2004 Hi, I would like to arrive early and get to the front of the line for my serenade of the seas cruise, but I don't want to be too early, what time should I arrive at the pier? LibertyBelle Posted May 18, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2004 We arrived around 10am last year and plan on about the same this year... We ended up being in the first group of 15 that they took in to check in... thankfully as they had huge issues with the check in process last year (hopefully this year will be better) NCL Sun...Alaska Halloween...Explorer of the Seas Disney Magic Repositioning...Ca-FL RCCL Enchantment of the Seas 2003; Carnival Spirit 2003; RCCL Brilliance of the Seas 2002; RCCL Voyager of the Seas 2002; Disney Wonder May & Dec 2001; Disney Magic 2001; RCCL Sovereign of the Seas 2000; Disney Magic 1999; Disney Wonder 1999; Carnival Ecstasy 1999; NCL Norway 1998; Carnival Fantasy 1998; NCL Leeward 1997; Commodore Caribe I 1986

NCmom Posted May 20, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 20, 2004 We showed up at 10:45 last year for boarding the Radiance and had a LOOOONG wait. We actually spent 15 minutes (and quite a few more $$$) in the taxi in line waiting to get into the terminal area, as there were still numerous people exiting the ship. Customs didn't arrive and start processing until much later. We had an over 2 hour wait to board; our tablemates had a 3 hour wait to board when they arrived later. If it is a warm day in vancouver, I would suggest shorts as the terminal wasn't airconditioned, and it was incredibly hot waiting in the folding chairs packed very closely. Bring something to keep you occupied--books, cards, etc. I hated the embarkation process at Ballentyne Wonder 10/01; Magic 1/02; Wonder 10/02; Radiance 7/03; Wonder 10/03; Magic 9/
