How early should I arrive at Ballantyne Pier?

Hi, I would like to arrive early and get to the front of the line for my serenade of the seas cruise, but I don't want to be too early, what time should I arrive at the pier?

We arrived around 10am last year and plan on about the same this year... We ended up being in the first group of 15 that they took in to check in... thankfully as they had huge issues with the check in process last year (hopefully this year will be better) [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

We usually get there about 11 and if lucky-we board before noon.

Time for another Cruise!

We showed up at 10:45 last year for boarding the Radiance and had a LOOOONG wait. We actually spent 15 minutes (and quite a few more $$$) in the taxi in line waiting to get into the terminal area, as there were still numerous people exiting the ship. Customs didn't arrive and start processing until much later. We had an over 2 hour wait to board; our tablemates had a 3 hour wait to board when they arrived later. If it is a warm day in vancouver, I would suggest shorts as the terminal wasn't airconditioned, and it was incredibly hot waiting in the folding chairs packed very closely. Bring something to keep you occupied--books, cards, etc. I hated the embarkation process at Ballentyne
