embarkation ? from first timer

We are booked on the Spirit, 10/01/07.

Since we have to check out of the hotel by 11am (staying at Pacific Beach Hotel) and the ccl site says we can't board until 1pm can we check our luggage with porters and come back around 1 for embarkation?

Would it be to early to get in line after checking out of hotel?

any suggestions/advise greatly appreciated, thanks.

You can check your luggage, and probably board at 11.
