800 ft Submarine Dive

Princess has a shore excursion which is through Atlantis Submarines where you do a reef wall dive to 800 or 1000 ft. it's expensive but Atlantis says it is remarkable. has anyone done this excursion? What was it like? Was it worth the money?

We wanted to take the sub tour too, but it's closed until April. Here's the link for a cheaper rate than the cruise tour. Same sub tho

Yes, it IS remarkable... It's pricey, but well worth it, and if you're not a diver it's the next best way to see what's down there! You don't go down quite THAT far though!!!... Atlantis subs go down about 100', not 1000'!!!

We will be in Grand Cayman on March 2, 2005. Is the shorter dive on the Atlantis also closed until April?
