Nassau on a Sunday???

DH and I are trying to plan a quick weekend getaway for my 30th birthday--SOS or MOS. The major difference is Nassau. How is Nassau on a Sunday???

I was in Nassau a few years ago, the town shuts down pretty early, even if ships are in port.

Most (but not all) the shops will open on Sunday although some not until after church; and some will close earlier as well. The downtown stores that are more for locals won't open. The straw market will also be open but with fewer vendors. SOS gets you a Saturday visit which is overall better, particularly if you want to do any local night life before the ship sets sail around 2am.
