sea lice

I've read on several sites that the jelly fish and sea lice danger season is March through August. Anybody ever had a problem outside of that timeframe? We're cruising in late Sept-early Oct. I'm wondering if I ought to buy some Safe Sea or just not worry about it.

Thanks.

I don't know about sea lice, but we snorkeled at Coco Cay in early November last year and there were jelly fish EVERYWHERE! There was a line for treatment at the first aid station. I had a few itchy red marks but others had welts. I guess some people are more allergic than others.
