I'm sure many of you know Catherine, the Concierge on the Brilliance. She is no longer with Royal. I don't know any of the details, but she was fired earlier this month.

Wow; I'm REALLY surprised! I just rec'd a reply from Katherine on 12/5 that she expected to be concierge for our 7/2/10 cruise, but "we never know, ::):) "

We had very positive experiences with Katherine on our 12/05 Panama canal cruise. She even followed up for me on some post-cruise luggage & excursion issues.

I will miss her :(

Just got off Jewel, and Nedere was a fantastic Concierge. One of the best. She remembered everyone's name's, and Reynaldo the barkeep was outstanding, he remembered names and drinks and had a great sense of humor.

FYI: the termination of Katherine has nothing to do with her job performance!!!!!!!!! IMHO she was one of the best, and many others think the same, because, bunch of us, sent e-mails to Mr. Goldstein on this matter, and we are looking for more to do so.

I'm glad you had a great Concierge on the Jewel: couple years ago, Andrea, (not longer with the Company) ruined my B2B!

Martin is out of the rotation ...... he isn't on ships anymore. I agree he is the definition of concierge excellence.

Israel is now the primary on VY and Carlotta is his relief. IMHO both do a very nice job. :)

Ivan is the new Concierge on Brilliance - Norman also in Concierge Lounge and Angela in Diamond Lounge.

 

Not impressed with Ivan at all - needs mucho improvement IMHO and many others.

Just off the Explorer. Carlos is going on vacation and his replacement after dry dock will be Cherry Santos. She is an absolute doll! We have made her our adopted daughter! She was training under Carlos for our cruise. I hope we can sail with her again! Carlos will be back in a couple of months.

We'll be on the Mariner of the Seas for her Jan. 17th Sailing and do not know anything about

Allen Fajardo. Does anyone have any feedback? We're really low maintenance but do ask for help occasionally with ice skating tickets and having plenty of diet coke on hand.

Can anyone tell me who is currently the diamond concierge on Indy? Also do you know who will be the diamond concierge in July and November? We like Ricardo Mock and are hoping he will have left Oasis and come back to Indy!! I keep in touch with Ricardo via email and he is keen to come back to Indy after his leave but I wondered if anyone has the latest news. I know Columella often covers when he is on leave- is she currently the diamond concierge on Indy now? Thanks

Great to hear such nice words about Cherry!!!!!!!! She will be our Concierge for our upcoming 1/24/10 EOS cruise next Sunday.

So looking forward to this cruise and all the perks that come with the Concierge services.
