Sometimes they shut the power down before the storm hits to prevent accidents after the storm moves through. Then they work on restoring power.

Schill, what did you like about Roatan? Of course I have no idea what port will be 'substituted' on my upcoming cruise, but Roatan has been suggested as a replacement for Costa Maya. I'm all ears!
