Julienatul Posted August 20, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2007 Hello: My baby will be 8-months old on our 10/31/07 cruise...should I be concerned about the possibility of him getting sea sick? Nol, my pediatrician said they cant get sea sickness until they are able to walk as their equalibrium is not fully developed yet. We took our DD at 7 months, 12 months and 19 months and she has never had seasickness like I sometimes get.
ata1976 Posted August 20, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2007 DS was 7 months on our last cruise and he didn't have any problems. I thought the reason babies didn't have any problems was because they were use to floating in all the water recently (in your stomach).
dosi Posted August 21, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 21, 2007 Either take the baby on a really windy road or put the baby in a swing and swing it kind of crookedly. Either of these, done on a full stomach, should produce an answer to your question rather quickly.:p
