8-month old and seasickness?

Hello:

My baby will be 8-months old on our 10/31/07 cruise...should I be concerned about the possibility of him getting sea sick?

Nol, my pediatrician said they cant get sea sickness until they are able to walk as their equalibrium is not fully developed yet.

We took our DD at 7 months, 12 months and 19 months and she has never had seasickness like I sometimes get.

DS was 7 months on our last cruise and he didn't have any problems.

I thought the reason babies didn't have any problems was because they were use to floating in all the water recently (in your stomach).

Either take the baby on a really windy road or put the baby in a swing and swing it kind of crookedly. Either of these, done on a full stomach, should produce an answer to your question rather quickly.:p
