pnhmrk Posted August 21, 2007 #7 Share Posted August 21, 2007 I thought that there had been occasions on QM2 Didn't Mary, the Aussies, et al have the dress levels changed on their cruise in the Med? I seem to remember Mary complaining that she didn't have enough formal frocks!

I seem to remember Mary complaining that she didn't have enough formal frocks! Yes Malcolm...they said the schedule sent to them didn't bear much resemplance to what they actually found onboard. Sound's like it's hit or miss although I don't honestly see how hard this would be to coordinate for the various cruises she does. Her 10 day Caribbean itinerary is identical and as she does several of these I cant see how hard it would be to set the dress code well in advance and then let people know.... Cheers, Penny Penny’s Affair to Remember QM2 Review http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=471053 November 10,2007...the “Affair” continues.... southwestie Posted August 21, 2007 Author #9 Share Posted August 21, 2007 well pennt they let us know here, that direct from cunard uk, yes it is possible it may change but |I very much doubt it now, . I think they like casual and informal nights when the ship is round the islands keeping the formal for sea nights. But nothing to stop anyone dressing up as they wish, I know people did on the TA although a " crossing " is more formal than "cruise" . My informal is a suit and casual jacket & tie anyway,
