Paradise beach???

we have a group of 29 going oct 23. Could you please tell me if you can snorkel at Paradise beach? If not any suggestions. We do not want to pay $50.00 pp. Thank you

:D Wrong Paradise Beach, Derf.....but wow, how pretty it is! (That one is on Virgin Gorda.)

 

Paradise Beach on Cozumel doesn't have great snorkeling, according to 'Paradise Beach Tom'....unless you go 'way out.

 

Your best bet would be to go to the Ports-of-Call board (go to the top here and click on Cruise Critic Msg. Boards), and scroll down to Cozumel. TONS of info on PB there, and PB Tom is a regular poster there.

I was just there last week and snorkelled for about an hour. I enjoyed it and there was some coral/rocks, lots of fish, even a starfish. It was realatively close to shore, just past the iceberg and trampoline. I just wanted a day at the beach with a little snorkelling, so it worked great for me. There is a lot more to see at some of the other "snorkelling" beaches, but we didn't want to pay the admission fee to Chaukanaab and the others don't have much in the way of beach facilities.
