melgray13 Posted August 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2007 Just curious - we're supposed to be going to the western carb in less than 2 weeks. Assuming that all will be repaired to allow us to dock/tender to our original ports. My question - do you think I should change my original excursion choices? We were thinking about snorkeling - will the water be too messed up to see much? If there is still a high risk of rain - should we rethink our beach day? Cave tubing in Belize? I don't mind doing different things because of the weather - just want to maximize each port after considering all of the conditions.
CoxAndr Posted August 21, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 21, 2007 I would most likely rethink the excursion in Belize (cave tubing in particular). With all the flooding, I'd be concerned with entering into any streams, rivers, etc. We'll know more this week as to what might happen with Belize and Costa Maya, but I'd start thinking about other alternatives.
