Has anyone living in California used http://protecttrip.com/ to purchase Trip Insurance? They are agents for Access American and AIG. Their Website states; CALIFORNIANS

Take advantage of Prop.103 which enables California residents to receive insurance commission rebates. Only two states offer this option.

Personally, I don't think I'd buy a policy from some web site that won't put their physical address on the site or their licensing info.

I always purchase AIG through insuremytrip.com. I checked out this web site. I don't know why, but it makes me nervous. First they say that they rebate to Californians due to Prop 103, but then it says they rebate part of their 10% commission. I think I will stick with insuremytrip.com.

I agree! I felt uncomfortable with their website and tried to trace them down via their 800 number, etc. No Luck! They have several websites under several different names. I wanted to know if others felt as uncomfortable as I did so I posted the question here. I appreciate you all taking the time to respond. Hope I will be able to return the favor. :cool:
