alexsmom Posted August 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2007 Arriving a day prior to cruise. Don't know if I should book hotel thru cruise line or on my own. If I book on my own I guess I need to take a cab to port of Miami. It seems that if you book with cruise line transportion is included. Any advice would be appreciated thanks
Cruise_More_Often Posted August 23, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2007 alexsmom, visit the East Coast board (http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=415) before you make your decision. You can review the posts to see where people are booking/and how much they're paying/how much taxis will cost to get you to the port.

Any advice would be appreciated thanks We stayed at a Hilton Miami Airport near the airport down there (used Priceline, and got a really nice suite for about $100.00 three years ago), and really liked it. Cab to the port is fairly inexpensive, although I don't recall specifically how much. It was the way to go though, as we didn't have to ride with an entire group of people. Hope this helps. Any advice would be appreciated thanks Generally you can ALWAYS find a hotel cheaper than what the cruise line offers. Also the taxi to the ship is only 10.00. You don't need the cruiseline transfers. There's lots of recs and methods of getting the rooms on this web site. Read up and have fun.
