joedebnh Posted August 24, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2007 Is there a ramp to the Grand Cabana that can handle a walker, wheelchair, or scooter? If not does anyone know how many steps there are? Thanks for any info.
bishop84 Posted August 24, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2007 The last time I was at HMC the Grand Cabana was still a bar. The access was via the beach and a wooden walkway over the rocks however it could also be reached by the the road which runs alongside the harbor and entrance channel. There used to be a couple of steps when it was a bar but maybe they put ramps or easier access in when they changed it to the Grand Cabana. Oceanwench Posted August 24, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 24, 2007 I think the OP may be talking about that large cabana that costs about $1,200 to rent and has its own bar and hot tub. It can accommodate 12 people for that price. I remember someone posted pix of it here.
haligonian37 Posted August 24, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2007 Here's a link to a thread with many pictures of the new grand cabana: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=521839&highlight=grand+cabana Specifically, these two pics, as it looks like there is a ramp leading up to it: There's an awful lot of great info on that thread as well...hope it helps!
