In Cabin Movies

Can anyone tell me if there are in cabin movies available aboard the Crown princess? I haven't been able to find anything. If so, what type? Is it like a hotel system?

They do offer some movies in the rooms. When you get on board, the in-room TV schedule will list the channels and what movies are playing each day. It's not an on-demand system - you only get to watch what's playing at the set time. And you don't have to worry about missing one - they repeat them over and over during the cruise. They also show some of the same movies that are shown on MUTS.

Usually they're not movies that have just played in your theaters back home. They've been out for at least long enough to be available on DVD, even though we had a movie on our cruise that I think was a lot more recent than that.

 

On ships that do not have MUTS, some of the movies will also be played in one of the big lounges, instead of a production show.

There certainly are movies in cabin. I remember having to pry the kids away from yet another viewing of Lord of the Rings, which seemed to be showing just about every day. :rolleyes:

Hi! Fellow UT Fan here. My family is from Knoxville, TN. (I now live in the DC area) Hubby and I both did grad school work there. Good to see some big orange on the boards. And I actually worked for UT in Nashville for 8 years. My dad and nephew are HUGE basketball fans and have had season tiks for nearly 15 years. GO VOLS!
