Dunn's River Falls

Just curious, how long is the bus ride to Dunn's River Falls. I read on another post where someone said they don't want to go because it is too long a drive there?!

It is only about a ten minute drive from the port.

 

FYI, to save some money, do not book the falls with RCCL. Much cheaper on your own, take a cab and pay the entry to the falls, save $$$.

If you are docking in Ocho Rios it is close but if you are docking in Montego Bay it is pretty far away. Just make sure what port you are at. I hope this helps!

We always get off at the port and hire a taxi and have them take us to the falls,shopping and a little ride around for much less than the ship tour.You aren't in a crowded bus and can set your own pace and save money.Make sure it is an official licensed taxi and agree upon a price before you leave.

No problem HB. I wouldn't have thought of it either except a friend had asked me this same question when he was cruising to Montego Bay and we figured out that it would probably not be a good excursion from there. Just trying to help!

It's just a short walk but if you are concerned about the walk I would have them wait at the top for you.Some parts of the climb can be pretty challenging.You will absolutely love it, though.Have a great time.

If you go to their website you can look up your cruise and to the left click on shore tours and can look through them all with the prices.You can also book this through local tour companies for less and they're not usually as crowded.
