There are three major islands of the Cayman Islands, and two very minor ones. The major islands are Grand Cayman and then the Sister Islands of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. The Sister Islands are about 90 miles to the northeast of Grand Cayman.

A prominent feature of Grand Cayman is the North Sound, popular for trips to Stingray City and other snorkelling trips. In the southern end of North Sound is an island... Booby Cay. It is mostly swampy and there really is no point going there.

Off the southwest corner of Little Cayman is Owen Island. It is a popular destination to visit by kayak and to have a picnic lunch. It is uninhabited.

To visit the Sister Islands from a cruise stop in Grand Cayman would require coordinating a plane flight. There has been discussion of developing this as a regular option as a shore excursion from GC.

Finally, on rare occasions a small cruise ship schedules a stop at Cayman Brac.
