mermaid40 Posted August 25, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2007 Hello, We are flying into Vancouver a day earlier than our flight and would like to take a tour of Vancouver in the morning before we get on the Star. Has anyone been on the Big Bus (double decker bus), the trolley or used LandSea Tours. I can't decide which tour to take. LandSea sounds nice as they will drop us off at the terminal after the tour. Any comments would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!!
gg3 Posted August 26, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 26, 2007 We were in Vancouver in July and took the Big Bus for the day. We came in 2 days pre cruise and had 1 day post cruise. It is a really good way to see a lot of Vancouver and decided where you want to spend more time. We were staying at the Fairmont Waterfront right across the street from Canada Place, and there was a Big Bus pick up there, as well as several other company buses. The first thing we did was ride the entire route (about 90 minutes round trip), then we decided where we wanted to spend more time.....Stanley Park and Granville Island, so we got dropped off at these two places for longer periods of time. The next time we come back to Vancouver........we will take the bus that goes to Capillano Suspension Bridge and on to Grouse (mispelled, I think) mountain.....the Big Bus does not go there. gg
