CruzFamleof6 Posted August 28, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2007 We will be sailing out of Seattle and we will be 2 nights precruise in Seattle. There will be 4 kids 16, 15, 10 & 5and two grandmothers. We would love to have a hotel that has great amenities for kids....possibly free continental breakfasts and well as a hotel that is close to shopping, attractions and possibly the pier....is this too much to ask?:o Not too worried about the price and we not loking for budget accomodations. Thanks so much!
electricron Posted August 28, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2007 Check out Edgewater Hotel, it's right next door to Pier 66 at Pier 67. http://www.edgewaterhotel.com/edgewater_home.aspx
momthecruisedirector Posted August 29, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 29, 2007 http://homewoodsuites.hilton.com/en/hw/hotels/index.jhtml?moreDesc=true&ctyhocn=SEAHWHW The Homewood Suites offer free warm breakfast and week day hot entree, salad bar, beverage in the evenings. This is just past the north end of the Waterfront, walkable to Seattle Center (Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, etc). We had friends stay here with a family reunion and it served them well. wa.mama Posted August 30, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2007 We like the Waterfront Marriott - our kids are 7-12-14 - you can get a suite and adjoining room on the concierge level, which supplies continental breakfast and snacks all day long. There's an indoor/outdoor pool (rare in seattle hotels) and it is a short elevator ride up to Pike's Market (kids, go to the magic store), an easy walk to Spaghetti Factory, the Sculpture Park, and the Aquarium. You can walk up to the Pacific Science Center also if you're fairly fit. Our second favorite would be the Grand Hyatt, but that's not near the port. If you stay at the Marriott, ask for a room which faces the bay so you can watch the ferries.
