Those practices disappeared about the same time that cruising became affordable to the homeless, those who do not know how to spell or speak English properly, and those who walk around with toothpicks hanging out of their mouths.

The midnight buffets became a waste of food. All it was to us was another photo opportunity.

 

The drinks probably disappeared when folks starting arriving with their hands full of smuggled wine and beer..... plus all their other carryon stuff.
