Pete5363 Posted August 30, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2007 Hi everyone, will be off on my first crusie Saturday my best mate is getting married on monday aboard the ship and I'm best man. I have two questions if you don't mind 1. Can jeans be worn or not? I have plenty of smart trousers anyway so would it be better to wear them with a shirt? 2. Any idea how much it costs to get items washed on board not self laundry service the service P&O offer? Thanks in advance any other tips would be great :)
The Monocled Mutineer Posted August 31, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2007 Jeans are not really suitable for a P&O cruise.
forest_ Posted August 31, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2007 Jeans can be worn not a problem just not in the evening. You will not be allowed in the dinning room with jeans on.
Pontius Navigator Posted August 31, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 31, 2007 Pete, If you are on a fly-cruise and more than 7 days you will need laundry. From what others have said the costs will be similar to a shore-based laundry service. There will be a laundrette that you can use for underwear, socks etc. If you are on a UK cruise then you might pack sufficient for 14 days
