Mahe to Mahe 25th November

My husband and I are taking this cruise together with the B2B one from Mahe to Mauritius. The first week we leave Mahe and then have a day at sea before arriving in Praslin. Has anyone done this cruise and can tell me why it takes a day before reaching Praslin which is less than 20 miles away. The second week we are in Praslin the second day!!
