Couldn't believe it, what are the odds?

Yesterday at work, I found out that we needed to switch our cruise date from 7-6-08 which was the week of DH's 60th BD :( to the week of June 21st, (my birthday). He was just transferred back to a different location than where he was working, and the boss there always takes his vacation the week of the 4th.:( (They both can't be off at the same time). I was really looking forward to him celebrating his 60th birthday and was going to surprise him by having his daughter that he hasn't seen in 15 years (although they talk on the phone very often) show up at here at home the night before the cruise and bring her & her family with us. Now, I'm hoping they'll be able to go that month. We had booked our first 9a wrap on Liberty, and I couldn't believe it, we were able to get exactly the same cabin for a sailing a little less than a month earlier. :D What are the odds of it being available? Gonna try to get in touch with his daughter Monday while he is at work to see if they can switch the dates, wish me luck:)

That's a great sign with the cabin, the 9a's usually aren't available that "late" into booking.

I checked about a week ago for the same sailing (6/21/2008) and the only 9A that wasn't available was ours! I dunno why the 9As aren't gone yet, but I snatched ours up last November. :D
