Grhamer Posted September 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2007 Hi- We are cruising in February on the Vision of the Seas out of LA to the Mexican Riveria. We will be arriving 3 days prior. We are thinking of staying at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn in North Hollywood. We are flying into Burbank and some friends told us this would be a nice place to stay. It is very close to many of the sites like Universal Studios. Anybody every stay there? Looking for comments and feedback. Thanks!
Scotch Mist Posted September 4, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2007 Hi We're staying in the Beverly Garland this Friday. We checked it out on "Tripadvisor.com" before we booked. The reviews seemed really favourable and the free shuttle bus to and from Universal Studios will come in really handy. Hope this helps:p

Cruisin' Chick Posted September 10, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 10, 2007 My family used to go to the Sportsman Lodge for birthdays and anniversary dinners. I still remember the swans that used to swim in the little pond next to the restaurant. Grhamer, hopefully, you won't run into too much traffic getting to San Pedro from North Hollywood the day of your cruise. At least it's Sunday, but it's probably a good idea to book the shuttle or taxi for maybe 11am at the latest, just in case there's lots of traffic, as your route will involve a few freeways.
