rodeoblu Posted September 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2007 We are cruising Oct 1 on the Mercury and was wondering about the best options for parking our car. We are staying dowtown the night before. Thank you.
L&S80 Posted September 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 5, 2007 Best & easiest tp park is right across the street from pier 66......Bell street parking I believe......it's $12 a day......I think it does change prices......then you take the sky bridge across the street, down the elevator & walk to the terminal......very easy to do.......we're on the Oct 26 cruise.........have a great time........... mumsyo Posted September 5, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2007 The price has gone up to $14 a day, but that is where I always park if I am taking a cruise out of Seattle. It is so handy!! Also, they have attendants there who will take your check in bags and get them to the ship for you--which makes it much easier!! Marilyn

vjblk Posted September 5, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 5, 2007 Here's a link to the Port of Seattle website which has the info and a link to the parking company. http://www.portseattle.org/seaport/cruise/parkingandtransportation.shtml
4Dogs9Cats Posted September 6, 2007 #6 Share Posted September 6, 2007 Is there plenty of parking (in other words, do I need to get there early to be sure to get a spot)?
vjblk Posted September 6, 2007 #7 Share Posted September 6, 2007 If you go to the link in my previous post, you can find information on how the cruise parking works. Sounds like there is a designated area for Cruise Parking. They ask that you not arrive before 11:30. From what I have read, it sounds like if you prepay you are guaranteed a spot. But if I were you, I would go direct to the source and ask any questions direct to Republic Parking. Sorry but I have no personal experience as the one time I cruised from Seattle, we just took a cab to the port.
