DJ1VIKES Posted September 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2007 Has anyone ordered the snack pack for their kids prior to boarding to have it in their cabin as a surprise/gift for them?? We are thinking about getting one but we want to get the healthy one and the only picture they show is the indulgent treats one. Does anyone know what comes in the healthy one?? Thanks in advance:) Alyson
crusinmama06 Posted September 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 5, 2007 No we don't order the food baskets because there are sooooo many opportunities for food onboard, that we figured it would just be overkill. We order the room decoration packages. And then they get a bear with the ship's name on it as their souvenir. And usually a Christmas tree ornament, so we can remember our trip every year. Luxuriate Posted September 13, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2007 Have to agree with the previous poster. There is so much food available on the ship I can't imagine actually paying to have more delivered to the cabin. Getting a special treat for the kid in the first port visited or in the ship gift shop makes more sense to me. Cheryl
shrimp0 Posted September 13, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 13, 2007 We recieved one as a gift from our TA for our son. It was a nice insulated lunch bag that we used during the week to carry his dry packaged snacks when were at port. The snacks were granola bars, raisins, fruit snacks, fig newton cookie and maybe a few others. My son was also excited to use the lunch bag for school when we returned home. Is it necessary with all the other food choices including fresh friut all day? probably not... but it was a nice surprise. (btw... TA sent us the nice beach bag as a gift)
