Has anyone been there in January and if so what is the weather like? 2. How do you get to Paradise Beach without paying the ships price? 3. Do you need to pre-buy the wristbands? Thanks! The weather in January varies - it might be warm, summery weather or it might be cool and breezy. There is no ship excursion to PB. You just ask the cab driver to take you to Paradise Beach. Make sure you check the cab fares board before you take the cab there so you know the price up front. You buy the wristbands when you get there - people will offer them to you as you enter the bar area, or whe you walk out onto the beach. You only have to buy them if you want to use the water toys.
