Mysteryreader Posted August 27, 2004 #26 Share Posted August 27, 2004 Also, 13 books????   Books on CD are much more "compact", easier to pack, carry & use!!! Get a CD player! :D They may be more compact, but they require a CD player that may not be all that handy to lug around to various venues--e.g. restroom, sitting on the plane in the take-off queue, bus on wilderness tour. Moreover, I can read much faster than anyone can speak plus most books on CD are abridged, and you can't pick up a CD for a quick two-page read when you think you're all ready to go to dinner then dh announces he needs to make one more trip to the john. No thanks, I'll stick with the tried and true. I did, however, make one concession to weight and space: only pbks, no hdbks this time. ;-) M/R
