Explorer of the Seas - Deck 3??

Has anyone stayed in an oceanview cabin on deck 3, I've never stayed on a deck that low before and I was just wondering about noise and/or motion.

I'm looking for a cabin that would accomodate three people comfortably.

Anyone traveling with children, what do you normally book?

The best cabins as to lack of motion is in the middle and close to the water line thus a deck three cabin in the center of the ship would be good in this respect. You also have cabins below you on deck two so shouldn't have engine/thruster noise but there are bars/lounges on deck four above most of the deck three cabins.

I would tend to book on a higher deck (7 or higher). We had a deck 6 PR cabin over the pub on Adventure and you could hear the entertainer in the evening. On Voyager we had a deck 9 inside towards the middle and it was quiet and calm for our Canadian Maritimes cruise.
