Does anyone else feel this? Over whelmed that your cruise of finally here????

 

Every time I turn around tears are streaming down my face. At this point there is nothing holding me back.

 

I was never was soooo happy about a vacation.

 

What the heck is wrong with me???

Is this your first cruise? I have never felt tears, but walking on the ship always gives me chills.

No matter if it's your 1st or 10th cruise, there's just something special about getting on a cruise ship. You are going on a great ship. Don't be too overwhelmed when you see it. It's a big one. I've been on a few cruises now, I still get pretty pumped up when I see the ship for the first time. All I know is that cruising is addicting. It's taking a few cruises, but I've finally got to a point not gaining weight on them. It is very easy to overdue it. Enjoy the Liberty, I had a great time on her.

uh, no ;) No clue what is wrong with you. It's just a vacation. Maybe you need to get away more and you'll just feel it's a normal part of life.

That is exactly correct. People who have never cruised simply don't 'get it'.

 

In one single package cruising allows us to return to the sea, satisfy our need for adventure and placate our senses. It's a marvel of ingenuity, hard work and love.

 

As I feel sorry for people who have never felt the joy of flight I feel sorry for people who have never felt the tingle of stepping aboard a cruise ship.

While I haven't actually cried, I've come close. I get real emotional and excited before a cruise. It may be silly, but I don't want to ever lose that feeling!

No tears-- but the excitement gets to me every time! We always spend the night before by the port to make sure we don't miss the ship-- and I am always up early, wanting to get to the ship early.... and as the taxi gets close to the port-- and you see the huge ship... well-- it is just so exciting-- knowing you are really going to get some relaxation etc.

I get sooooo excited when I book my cruise, then I think it will never get here. But then when I get to the terminal I get sooooooo excited especially when I see the ship, and I have only been on two cruises and going on the third in January. I don't think January 10 will ever get here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every morning when I got up I would go out on my balcony and say "Oh God, I can't believe I am doing this again."

 

Have a great cruise, you are going on a great ship. We were on the Liberty last January. :D :D

I think I will shed a tear or 2 getting on the ship. Ive been wanting to cruise since my early teens that was 10 years ago. My first cruise will be a triumph for me!

Your going on a fabulous cruise, that is what is wrong with you ;) Your going to have a fabulous time. When you wake up that morning and get on your plane and then drive up to the port and see that ship, now that is what is called exciting. You are gong to have the best time.

I cry when we get to the airport, when we get on the ship, formal night dinners, the last dinner night, riding back to the airport from the ship.... and lots of other times during the cruise, too.
