traveljen1027 Posted September 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2007 We are thinking of just grabbing a taxi to get to Magen's Bay and see some sights on the way, but we are traveling with our 3 year old daughter - anyone recommend bringing our own car seat in order to take the cab or should we just stick with the cruise line tours? Thanks!

Thanks! Some taxis may have car seats in their trunk but you can also take the open air jitney that holds 20 or more people. There are no seat belts. If you are comfortable with that. The Islander Posted September 22, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2007 Hello, Carseats are required here for small children, however as mentioned the safari buses/jitneys don't have seatbelts so using a carseat isn't an option. I don't think taxis carry carseats. You can look for a van or car type of taxi so you can use your car seat or so that there is a seatbelt to buckle your child in if you don't bring the car seat. --Islander
